They say history repeats itself-This is true! and it also apples in the world of fashion. How many clothing, shoes, hairstyles and haircuts you see today are traceable to our grandfathers' times (Around 1960's, 1970's)? Many! For instance, in many cities where ladies love comfort, some have opted for flat slip-ons for shoes. Most of these are actually made of tyre--I mean--rubbers. Some of the slip-ons go on to have very long laces that have to be tied up the leg, UPTO the knee! This actually resembles the shoes drawn in many historical books, including those showing, the time of Jesus. Yes, That long ago!
This repetition is also very evident in clothing. the current Pedal-pushers, and the so called Hipstars, are a fashion recycle. Am however not sure whether the olden guys wore these trousers for fashion, or lack of otherwise (maaybe there were no properly fitting jeans trousers).
